Overview

The Bonnet Stay Bushing is a direct replacement for the small grommet that secures your Skyline’s bonnet stay rod in place. Sitting within the factory 90° angled bracket on the radiator support, it provides a cushioned seat for the stay rod to press into, ensuring smooth movement when swinging from closed to open.

Made from durable, long-lasting Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU), this component keeps the bonnet stay firmly located, preventing rattle, reducing wear on the rod, delivering secure, OEM-function.

Installation Guide

1. Locate the bonnet stay rod bracket on the passenger, right hand side front of the car, positioned on the radiator support.
2. Apply forward, even pressure to wiggle the grommet bushing halfway into the bracket.
3. With a helping hand ensuring the bonnet is held up, apply forward, even pressure to wiggle the bonnet stay rod into the newly installed bushing.
