Locate the upper driver-side radiator mounting bracket, the bonnet stay clip slot is located in front of the bracket.
With the bottom face of the clip facing down at the radiator support square hole, turn the clip diagonal to the radiator support.
Carefully wiggle the clip back and forth, applying even downward force until it seats into the slot in the radiator support.
Turn the bonnet stay clip back so the opening faces towards the front of the car, it should now be locked in place.
