Overview

Upgrade your Skylines rear end feel with a stiffer, more direct response. Our Rear Sway Bar Bushings provide sharp handling and stability. These components restore proper sway bar function by eliminating the excess play and fatigue that builds up when soft, old and worn bushings deteriorate.

The link bushings cushion the connection between the sway bar and trailing arms, while the chassis mount bushings secure the bar firmly to the chassis. Together, they reduce unwanted movement, improve cornering response and dampen vibration for a more predictable driving feel.

These bushings are a durable upgrade, proven to perform like Polyurethane, designed to be a precise OEM+ style fit. Our unique design incorporates a raised ring that locates and seats the top-hat washers that the link bushes compress into.

All components are designed for R31 rear suspension

SAVE $$$ when you purchase as a complete kit.

Installation Guide

*We encourage the use of PTFE/Teflon grease to lubricate working faces of all bushings, silicone grease works as well however it will wash out quicker.

  1. Jack up the rear of the car from the diff to access the rear suspension.
  2. Using a 12mm socket undo both sway bar axle mounting brackets, the sway bar will now detach from the axle housings.
  3. Using a 13mm socket and a 12mm ring spanner, undo the sway bar linkage mounted to the chassis. Note carefully how it comes off to aid reassembly.
  4. Ensure you have all 5x washers and the sleeved spacer that complete the sway bar link assembly. (This hardware can be reused)
  5. Remove and dispose all old bushings.
  6. Perform the correct order of reassembling the link bushes, washers and the sleeved spacer. Once tensioned the compression applied to the bushings will restore original geometry.
  7. Before reattaching the sway bar to the linkage assembly, press-fit the chassis mount bushing into the original chassis bracket and loosely reattach/fasten both back to the axles.
  8. Remount with new bushes and tension the sway bar link bolt until all link bushes have your desirable tension loaded (bushes should be compressed and squished, ensure factory nyloc nut is still intact on the underside of the LCA connecting to the sway bar link bolt, this will prevent backing out).
  9. Fasten bolts and tighten both axle mount brackets until bottom out.

*Ensure all fasteners are retensioned when vehicle is under load (ie. on the ground) - we encourage driving after install and retensioning all fastening hardware.

*NOT INTENDED FOR ROAD USE
