This R31 Skyline Shifter Boot & Insulator seals the transmission tunnel around the manual shifter, helping to reduce heat transfer into the cabin while preventing fumes, dust, debris, and road noise from entering the interior.
The boot and insulator have thicker walls and bellows than the OEM design, offering a more durable and longer lasting seal while still maintaining enough flexibility ensuring smooth shifting.
Shifter boot is sold at standard shifter diameters of 27mm & 34mm, please specify below if you require custom sizing.

The kit includes x2 components:
1x Shifter Insulator
1x Shifter Boot
Installation Guide
Remove the manual surround and receiving trim that sits on top of the transmission tunnel.
Remove the metal plate secured with 6x fasteners that surrounds the shifter.
Place shifter insulator over the transmission tunnel ensuring all holes line up with the holes in the floor.
Place the shifter boot on top of the insulator ensuring all holes are still aligned.
Place the metal plate on top and fasten the screws until the plate firmly sandwiches the shifter boot and insulator to the transmission tunnel.
Ensure the top collar of the shifter boot seats around the base of the shifter. (if the collar is too far up the shifter the shifter boot will push on the shifter interfering with gear changes).
