Overview

This kit is designed to replace and upgrade the OEM plastic brackets that are used to secure and hold the glass in the Nissan R31 Skyline's window winding mechanism. 

This OEM+ design is 2x the length and 3x the thickness of the original bracket improving the windows fixture.

Specifications

Each door's window winding mechanism requires 2x Window Brackets.

A Single Pair Kit includes 4x components:

  • 1x Left-side Window Bracket
  • 1x Right-side Window Bracket
  • 2x M6x12 Phillips Head Screws

A Double Pair Kit is essentially 2x Single Pair Kits:

  • 2x Left-side Window Bracket
  • 2x Right-side Window Bracket
  • 4x M6x12 Phillips Head Screws

A Complete Kit is essentially 4x Single Pair Kits or 2x Double Pair Kits:

  • 4x Left-side Window Bracket
  • 4x Right-side Window Bracket
  • 8x M6x12 Phillips Head Screws

Installation Guide

  1. Remove the doorcard and any plastic sheeting obstructing access to the window winding mechanism
  2. Wind the window down until the metal bracket attached to the window winding mechanism is visible
  3. Remove window glass (clean and remove any adhesive if present)
  4. Remove the original plastic window brackets
  5. Using the provided or original M6 Screw, align the threaded insert on the new window bracket behind the top hole of the window winding mechanism bracket
  6. Carefully fasten the screw until your new window bracket is firmly seated.
    (we recommend backing them out slightly before installing glass)
  7. Reinstall the glass ensuring it seats firmly and flush down into the channels of both the new window brackets.
  8. Adjust horizontal alignment of window brackets if necessary and re-tension the screws.
